Elk jaar wordt de Lions International Peace Poster Contest wereldwijd gehouden. Deze competitie stimuleert 'young people worldwide to artistically express their visions of peace'. Het thema voor 2010/11 Peace Poster Contest is "Vision of Peace" en is voor kinderen van 11-13 jaar oud.
Coco maakte dit jaar een tekening met kleurpotlood.
Haar 'Vision of Peace' is (in haar eigen woorden): "I visualise a world where you are not contained. Where everyone has freedom and lives in a peaceful environment, where everyone cares for one another. This is my vision of peace".
Ze won daarmee de locale school competitie en gaat nu door naar de regionals..
Mrs Hawtin (Coco's arts teacher) was zeer onder de indruk!
